Priscilla and Brant's Unforgettable Wedding at The Historic: A Day of Love, Joy, and Family

I'm so excited to share with you the beautiful wedding of Priscilla and Brant at The Church on Main, which has now been renamed The Historic. This venue holds a special place in my heart because I've shot many weddings here, including the very first wedding I ever photographed! So you can imagine how thrilled I was to capture Priscilla and Brant's big day in such a meaningful location.

One thing that really stood out to me about this wedding was how close-knit their families are. Both Priscilla and Brant come from large families of ten kids each, and Priscilla is the baby of the bunch. So you can imagine how special this day was not just for the happy couple, but for their whole family.

The getting ready room at The Historic is one of my absolute favorites. The lighting and layout are just perfect for capturing beautiful portraits with mom, and we even did dad's first look in this space. Seeing his reaction to his baby girl in her wedding dress was priceless, and Priscilla's handwritten letters for both of her parents brought out all the emotions.

Priscilla and Brant wanted to save their first look for the traditional moment of seeing each other down the aisle, but they still wanted a special moment together before the ceremony. So instead, we did a first touch. It was such a sweet and intimate moment as they read their vows to each other privately.

Their ceremony was absolutely beautiful, and you could feel the love and joy radiating off them as they exchanged their vows.

The romantic portraits we captured were some of my favorite I've ever shot at this venue, especially with the addition of their vintage white Cadillac which made for some unique and unforgettable shots.

The rest of the evening was a whirlwind of joyful celebration, with lots of little flower girls and ring bearers adding to the excitement. Our bride even snuck out with some of her besties to do a shot at the tap house next door!

The dance party was lively, and their first dance and dance with her dad were so sweet. The sparkler exit was the perfect end to an amazing night, as the newlyweds hopped into their Cadillac and drove off into the night.

I hope you enjoyed reading about Priscilla and Brant's special day as much as I enjoyed capturing it!
