Magical Waterfall Elopement

I feel like this elopement came right out of the pages of a fairytale book.

I traveled about an hour or so with the lead photographer to meet the bride and groom at the falls.

The moment I laid eyes on the gorgeous bride and her stunning red hair, I knew that we were about to take some epic wedding photos.

And that's exactly what happened. Shortly after the bride and groom exchanged their vows, we scampered down closer to the falls and captured images of the beautiful couple taking in their first moments as husband and wife.

I love it when magic just happens on a photoshoot. I can't help myself... I squeal and ooooo and ahhhh. All the "OH MY GOSH"'s.

I MEAN.... OH. MY. GOSH.

So obviously I was elated when....

happened....

Big beautiful weddings surrounded by all your friends and family is amazing, and what so many brides dream of when imagining their wedding day. But there's absolutely something to be said about the romantic and intimate moments that make an elopement special. And you can do it practically anywhere. In the mountains, at the beach, on a cliff, at a waterfall. It can be an adventure across the country or just you and your person and your closest loved ones at your favorite local spot. What's important is that you make your day yours.
